I understand that Townopolis was released a while ago, but still, this one didn’t aged very well in my opinion. It’s more of a puzzle game than a building management one, which is okay because I like puzzle games as well. The problem here is that Townopolis gets so repetitive and boring after the first 5 or 7 scenarios that I almost gave up on playing. The BGM keeps going over and over, always the same song. And there’s no cancel option once you’ve clicked to build or destroy something, and that was annoying as hell.2/10.. Great puzzle game! Just don't expect a city building sim - this is definitely more of a scenario type gameplay, like rounds of chess to beat.. I highly enjoy this game. I always enjoyed sanbox city building type games.. Just a relaxing game where you can build up a small town through scenarios or in a sandbox. Hours of mindless fun.. I got this game expecting it to be exactly as I expected it to be. It reminds me of a game called "Build-A-Lot", and it plays almost the same exact way. I dunno if its a rip-off of that game or not, I do not care really, as this game is fun to play when bored, and its the best investment of a game I have gotten. It was worth it, Buy this game if you like casual building. Someone wrote on here in another posts rating it bad and comparing it to SimCity... this is nothing like SimCity as the population does not go any higher than 1500, and SimCity you could have a population of 500,000 plus bigger maps. This is a different game type than SimCity, and is more of a planning zones and placing the proper buildings in the proper places to make them happy. I like playing the sandbox game and setting my own goals, its fun to reach those goals and feel accomplished everytime I finished them. The game has replayablility, and I keep coming back to play when I have time and not playing another game, or if I need a break from other games. It gives me something to do to kill the time with.. WIEEEEEERD. Games of the same kind (cheap SimCity clone with no complexity and just a few options) are written in Flash and found online in great numbers. This one is very irritating, because the authors consciously made it into a clickfest: if you have 10 or more houses, any given monent one of them breaks and needs a manual repair. It looks like a sophomore exercise in commercial game-writing, with the same irritating commercial stylistics as found in online games in air flights. The target audience is not causal gamers, but some rich guy who thinks this kind of drivel must be popular with gamers. Uniquely bad game, I am quite ashamed I have it in my library. Please don't buy it. Thanks.. 95/100Although I am a big fan of city building games. I have played many of them. I felt bad at the first, as this game does not have people walking on city roads. Other than notifications you do not see people.*** BUT STILL, this GAME WON my heart! ***I have spent just a Euro to purchase it due to the discount. And I am having 8 hours of beautiful time already. I am sure It will keep making me happy for another 10-15 hours. Guys just go for it, spend the first 15 minutes properly learning the mechanics of the game. TOWNPOLIS needs first 15 mins to be attentive to understand it. Then after you get the mechanics of the game, you just keep playing :) 8/10 for this game..
